Terms of Service – Northern Gas

By accessing, browsing, or purchasing products from Northern Gas through northerngas.co.za, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. General

Northern Gas provides LPG gas products, cylinder exchanges, related products, and delivery services to customers in the North West Province of South Africa and surrounding service areas.

Northern Gas reserves the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or limit quantities at its discretion where necessary.

2. Eligibility to Purchase

By placing an order through NorthernGas.co.za, you confirm that:

You are at least 18 years old
You have authority to enter into a legally binding agreement
Information supplied during checkout is accurate and complete
You are purchasing products for lawful purposes

3. Product Information

Northern Gas makes reasonable efforts to ensure product descriptions, specifications, pricing, and availability are accurate.

However:

Product images are for illustration purposes and may vary slightly from actual products
Product availability may change without notice
Pricing errors may occasionally occur

Northern Gas reserves the right to correct any errors and cancel affected orders where necessary.

4. Orders and Acceptance

Submitting an order does not automatically guarantee acceptance.

Northern Gas reserves the right to:

Reject any order
Limit quantities
Cancel suspicious or fraudulent transactions
Refuse service where delivery or safety requirements cannot be met

Orders become confirmed only after payment authorization and order acceptance by Northern Gas.

5. Pricing and Payments

All prices displayed on NorthernGas.co.za are in South African Rand (ZAR) unless otherwise stated.

Customers agree to pay:

Product prices
Delivery fees where applicable
LPG Cylinder Deposits
Any applicable taxes or charges

Northern Gas reserves the right to modify prices without prior notice.

6. Delivery

Northern Gas will make reasonable efforts to deliver within estimated timeframes; however, delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Customers agree that:

Someone authorized must be available to receive deliveries

Delivery access must be safe and reasonably accessible
Delays caused by weather, traffic, supplier issues, or circumstances beyond our control may occur

Northern Gas will not be liable for losses arising from delivery delays beyond reasonable control.

7. Cylinder Safety and Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree:

To use LPG products according to applicable safety guidelines and manufacturer instructions
Not to tamper with cylinder valves, seals, or safety devices
To inspect cylinders upon delivery
To stop using any product suspected of being damaged or unsafe

Northern Gas reserves the right to refuse cylinder exchange or collection where safety concerns exist.

8. Returns and Refunds

Returns and refunds are governed by the Northern Gas Return & Refund Policy available on NorthernGas.co.za.

By purchasing products from Northern Gas, customers acknowledge that they have read and accepted the Return & Refund Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted under South African law, Northern Gas shall not be liable for:

Indirect losses
Consequential losses
Business interruption
Loss of profits
Damages resulting from misuse of products
Events beyond reasonable control

Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot legally be excluded under South African law.

10. Website Use

Users agree not to:

Use the website for unlawful purposes

Attempt unauthorized access to systems or data
Introduce malicious code or harmful material
Interfere with website functionality

11. Intellectual Property

All content on northerngas.co.za, including text, images, logos, graphics, and website content, remains the property of Northern Gas unless otherwise stated.

No content may be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

12. Privacy

Use of northerngas.co.za is also governed by the Northern Gas Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to Terms

Northern Gas reserves the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time without prior notice.
